The sender selects the service when preparing an eligible package. The shipment enters the carrier’s network, receives tracking events as it moves, and is routed toward the destination according to the service commitment shown for that shipment.

“Second day” should not be interpreted by simply counting two dates on a household calendar. Pickup timing, business-day rules, weekends, holidays, destination, and service availability can affect the expected delivery day. A shipping promise is only as clear as its cutoff time, and cutoff times have never respected last-minute optimism.

Do not conceal or casually describe a restricted item; check the carrier’s current rules or ask an authorized shipping location.

Tracking, delays, and holiday schedules

Tracking begins with label information, but a created label does not necessarily mean the carrier physically possesses the parcel. Look for an acceptance or origin scan when confirming that the shipment has entered the network.

Open the official tracking page or approved shipping account. Confirm that the destination details shown are plausible. Read the latest scan and scheduled delivery information. Follow any exception notice or requested action.

Contact the carrier or sender when the record stops progressing unexpectedly. Holiday periods matter because pickup and delivery schedules can change. Some days may have reduced operations or no regular service, and high parcel volumes can affect practical timing. Check the official holiday schedule for the relevant year and location rather than relying on an old list.

If the package misses the displayed commitment, retain the label, receipt, tracking history, and shipment details. Eligibility for a refund or adjustment depends on the purchased service, account terms, exclusions, and the reason for delay. The person who bought the shipping service is usually best placed to begin the inquiry.
