How it works

You buy a ticket for a named performance, go to Radio City Music Hall at 1260 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, and watch a stage show built around the Rockettes’ precision line. The production’s full name is the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes. It is a live indoor show, not a street parade and not a film. The hall is the building. The Rockettes are the dance company. The Spectacular is the December-season title they dance there.

MSG Entertainment, which produces the show, announced the 2026 engagement on 23 July 2026: 230 performances, 4 November 2026 through 4 January 2027, the most at the Music Hall since the show’s debut there in 1933. Tickets were put on sale at rockettes.com/christmas and at the Radio City box office. Starting prices in that announcement were 50 dollars at the box office and 55 dollars online, the online figure including a 5-dollar service charge. Later seats and later dates can cost more. The listing you buy is the listing that matters.

The company itself is older than the Music Hall run. The Radio City Rockettes were founded in 1925. The 2025 Spectacular marked their centennial. The Christmas show at Radio City has run since 1933. A ticket for 2026 is a ticket for this season’s staging, including a new scene announced for this year and ten Rockettes numbers.

What you are actually booking

A seat is a civil date and a clock time. Matinees and evenings both exist once the calendar fills. Peak December often carries more than one performance a day. Thanksgiving week and the days around Christmas are not the same load as the first week of November. Read the time on the ticket, the door time if the venue posts one, and the running time on the producer’s page for that season. Third-party calendars have listed about ninety minutes; confirm on the page you pay.

Numbers audiences already know from earlier years remain in the 2026 billing: “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “New York at Christmas,” “12 Days of Christmas,” and “Dance of the Frost Fairies,” plus a new scene for this season. Cast, understudies, and which dancer stands on which end of the line change. You are buying the production, not a named soloist, unless a later notice says otherwise.

The Rockettes also appear in other New York holiday events in some years, including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rockefeller Center tree lighting. Those are separate tickets and, for the parade, a sidewalk or a broadcast, not a Music Hall seat. A Spectacular ticket does not admit you to the parade route.

Getting in without guessing

Sixth Avenue at 50th Street is a busy block in November and December. Allow time for security, coats, and finding the row. If you need an accessible seat, buy that seat type from the official channels, not from a screenshot of a different year. Children are welcome at a family show; a lap is not a second seat. Bags and cameras follow the hall’s current house rules, which live on the venue notice, not on a memory of 2019.

Refunds and exchanges are the seller’s rules. A snowstorm in the city may or may not cancel a performance; the hall is indoors. Travel insurance is a personal choice. The date on the ticket is still the date you have to be on Sixth Avenue.

Kick line is a weekday job in a holiday costume. The date on the ticket is the one that matters. After 4 January 2027 this season is over. The next Spectacular is a later announcement. Do not treat a 2026 stub as a 2027 entrance. The building will still be there. The line of dancers will have a new calendar.
