Today is National Pet Day only if the civil date in front of you is 11 April. In 2026 that Saturday already passed. In 2027 the eleventh lands on a Sunday. The day is not on the United States federal holiday table. Banks, post offices, and federal buildings treat 11 April as an ordinary weekday or weekend, whichever the grid already assigned.
