Because it is not a public holiday, shops keep ordinary hours. The United States does not publish a shutdown list for this name. A gym or a clinic that runs a men’s health event is running a program, not following a government order. Read that program’s times if you plan to go.

Other “men’s days” exist under other names in other countries. Those local dates are not automatically November 19.
