Last Holiday is not last year’s Christmas

Last Holiday (2006), directed by Wayne Wang, follows Georgia Byrd, played by Queen Latifah: a woman told she has little time left who spends her savings on a luxury trip. It is loosely based on the 1950 British film Last Holiday, written by J. B. Priestley, with Alec Guinness as George Bird. People add “the” in the search (“the last holiday”) without changing the title. Neither film is about Wham! Neither is a nativity story. The 2006 picture opened in January in the United States, which already tells you it is not a Christmas-release cousin of the 2019 movie.
