The English word till will not decide the contract.

Search boxes swallow letters. How many day till december 1 is the same question as the plural. Answer the date, not the typo. There is still one first of December. There are still 89 days in this year’s wait from 3 September. Next year the wait will be a different integer because you will ask on a different day, or because 2027’s 1 December sits a weekday later on a common-year skeleton.

Do not convert 89 into months. September plus October plus November is three month names, but they are 27 + 31 + 30 leftover and full days, not “three months till December.” Month lengths differ. The day count is the honest unit for a till-question aimed at a numbered date.
