Bring your own cup day 7 11
Bring Your Own Cup Day at 7-Eleven is a dated promotion, not a fixed weekday. You bring a clean, leak-proof cup that fits the store’s size test and fill a Slurpee at the price 7-Eleven posts for that day.
when is bring your son to work day
Bring your son to work day is not a 7-Eleven drink holiday. The U.S. program people mean is Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, now also run as Take a Child to Work Day. It falls on the fourth Thursday in April. In 2026 that Thursday was 23 April. Junior Achievement marks that date. It is a weekday on purpose: the point is to see a workplace while workplaces are open.
There is no separate national “Bring Your Son to Work Day” with its own weekend. Older “Take Our Sons to Work” efforts in the 1990s sat on a Thursday as well. If a school asks for notice, Thursday 23 April 2026 is the date to name. A Saturday office tour is a family visit, not that program’s day.
Do not mix that Thursday with Bring Your Own Cup Day. One is a workplace education date. The other is a Slurpee promotion at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores. They share the word “bring” and nothing else.
Bring your own cup day at 7-Eleven
7-Eleven announces Bring Your Own Cup Day (BYOC) when it is ready. It is not printed on the same square every year. Recent U.S. editions have landed on a Saturday — 13 September 2025 was one, with a $1.99 fill at participating stores. Canada’s 2026 event was 10–11 April, a Friday and a Saturday, at $2.50. A U.S. 2026 date is whatever 7-Eleven publishes for that country; do not reuse Canada’s Friday or last year’s Saturday until the chain says so.
The cup rules are physical, not calendrical. In U.S. stores the container must be clean, watertight, leak-proof, and able to stand upright in the in-store 10-inch cutout so it fits under the dispenser. Canada’s 2026 notice used a 26 cm diameter limit when full. One cup per customer is the usual cap. Flavors are Slurpee only on that offer.
Workplace day for sons and daughters: fourth Thursday in April (23 April 2026). 7-Eleven BYOC: a promoted date, often a Saturday in recent U.S. years; confirm the current notice. Cup: clean, leak-proof, and small enough for the dispenser test.
Place: participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores, not every store by default. A Thursday is for taking a child to work. A BYOC Saturday is for taking a fishbowl to a Slurpee machine. Bring the correct object.
Two Thursday-and-Saturday mix-ups
Search piles these dates because both are informal “bring your own” days. One belongs to a weekday office. One belongs to a convenience store’s marketing calendar. If you take a child to 7-Eleven on a random Friday, you have neither program unless that Friday was announced as BYOC and your workplace signed off on the other.
Slurpee Day on 11 July is a third date: 7-Eleven’s numbered day, when a small Slurpee is often free at participating stores. In 2026 that fell on a Saturday, and 7-Eleven used it for the drink’s 60th year. It is still not BYOC. Free small in the store cup is not fill-your-fishbowl.
Check the app or the in-store sign the week of. Promotions are one-day or two-day. They do not quietly move to the next weekday if you were busy. The workplace Thursday also does not move to Friday because testing ran long; schools and employers decide whether to excuse the absence.
