Nurafshon is the administrative center of Tashkent Region. Angren, Chirchiq, Olmaliq, Bekabad, Ohangaron, and Yangiyoʻl are among its important cities. The capital city of Tashkent is geographically enclosed by the region but is administered separately.

All of these locations share the same official time. A regional itinerary can therefore retain one clock from beginning to end. Travelers should still distinguish similar-looking place labels when booking transport: “Tashkent” may identify the independent capital, while “Tashkent Region” can refer to a destination beyond the city boundary.

Transliterations also differ. Olmaliq may be presented as Almalyk, Chirchiq as Chirchik, and Bekabad as Bekobod. Those variants reflect language or transliteration conventions, not different time-zone rules.

Sunrise from the plains to the mountains

Tashkent Region extends eastward toward mountain country and includes places at different longitudes, latitudes, and elevations. The entire area uses one civil time, but a sunrise calculation should be attached to a specific town rather than copied indiscriminately across the region.

Seasonal change affects both sunrise and sunset. Local topography adds another practical consideration: a ridge can hide the Sun after the calculated horizon crossing, while an open eastern view may reveal it sooner than a built-up street does.

Select Angren, Chirchiq, Nurafshon, or the actual destination. Confirm the relevant calendar date. Distinguish astronomical sunrise from first visible direct sunlight. Consult twilight data if the activity only requires ambient light.
