Other large cities include Kumanovo, Prilep, and Tetovo. All use the same legal time as Ohrid. A programme advertised for a particular local hour therefore starts at the same instant on clocks in these places.

Ohrid’s western position means its solar schedule can differ slightly from places such as Strumica or Novo Selo in the east. Local topography and the viewing direction over land or water also shape the experience of first light, without changing the astronomical calculation itself.
