For most purposes, Thimphu is the relevant city, while its named areas provide more precise references for directions, weather, and local daylight.

Select Thimphu for national and district-level schedules. Use the specific neighbourhood for local conditions when available. Do not expect a time-zone difference between the urban centre and outlying communities.
