The brand describes itself as open daily for lunch, dinner, happy hour, and late-night dining. A common posted pattern is an 11:00 a.m. open and a close between 10:00 p.m. and midnight, later on Friday and Saturday at some addresses. A few restaurants print a Sunday brunch-style open earlier than 11:00 a.m. None of that replaces the page for the kitchen you will sit in.

Work is the lunch reservation and the after-shift table. An 11:00 a.m. open is a business-lunch door, not a breakfast door. If your meeting is at 8:30 a.m., this is the wrong meal. If your meeting is at noon, you are in the first hour of the kitchen. Happy hour, where the restaurant posts it, is often a mid-afternoon to early-evening block plus a late-night block toward close. After work, the useful question is whether you need food, a tap list, or both. Happy hour can fit a 5:00 p.m. end of day if you are near the plaza. A 10:00 p.m. close on a Monday is late enough for a delayed shift and early enough that a 10:15 p.m. walk-up may already be refused. Friday’s later close is the night that absorbs overtime. Check that restaurant’s Friday row instead of copying Monday.

Read that restaurant, including Friday and Sunday if they differ. Treat 11:00 a.m. as lunch, not breakfast. Read happy hour as its own span when you want that menu. Read last seating and online cutoff if you are walking in near close.

Yard House will feed a noon client and a 9:00 p.m. closer. It will not invent breakfast because your first meeting was at dawn.

Late night, and days the kitchen moves

Late-night dining is local. A tourist-strip location can run past midnight; a quieter plaza may lock nearer to 10:00 p.m. Event nights near an arena can fill the floor without changing the printed hours, which still matter because the kitchen can stop taking tables before the official close. If you work the event, eat before you go in or pick a kitchen that still posts a late board.

Holidays follow the restaurant’s notice. Do not assume a national Darden closed-day list without reading this address. If you planned a team lunch on a weekday holiday, confirm the 11:00 a.m. open still exists that date. A dark kitchen on a weekday is a holiday exception, not the usual lunch clock.
