How it works

Ontario Mills is a Simon outlet center at 1 Mills Circle in Ontario, California, at the 10 and 15 freeways near Ontario International Airport. The mall publishes a weekday-evening board and a later Friday and Saturday. Sunday opens at 11:00 a.m. and still closes at 8:00 p.m. That extra Friday hour is the one people forget when they treat every night as 8:00 p.m. It is also only one hour, not a nightclub clock.

Work around this center is freeway work, airport work, and warehouse work as much as desk work. A 10:00 a.m. open is after the morning commute. An 8:00 p.m. Monday close is usable if you leave a nearby job at 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. It is tight if you leave at 7:00 p.m. and still want more than one store. Friday’s 9:00 p.m. close is the after-work night that actually exists on this property.

Simon also lists mall walking 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. daily, using a posted corridor. That is exercise before the shops unlock, not shopping. Do not arrive at 8:15 a.m. with a list of outlets and expect registers.

Weeknight outlets versus Friday’s extra hour

If you have a weekday job, the honest visit is after work on Friday, a Saturday that starts at 10:00 a.m., or a Sunday that starts at 11:00 a.m. A Tuesday 7:30 p.m. arrival leaves thirty minutes before an 8:00 p.m. close. That is a pickup, not a circuit of two hundred stores. Save the long outlet walk for a day off. Use a weeknight only for a named store you already mapped.

People who work at the airport or on the 10 can still miss the door if a shift ends at 8:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. Friday is the night that was built for them. Sunday’s 11:00 a.m. open is the one that wrecks a “first thing after a night shift” plan if that shift ends at 7:00 a.m. Go home, sleep, then use the 11:00 a.m. open, or pick a Saturday 10:00 a.m. instead.

Monday–Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mall walking: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. daily, not store hours. The 10 freeway will still be there at 8:05 p.m. The Nike Factory register may not. Tuesday is not Friday at this mall.

Entertainment clocks and holiday weeks

AMC, restaurants, and attractions on the site keep tenant hours. A movie that lets out after the concourse close does not reopen the outlets. Eat after shopping if the kitchen is the later door, not before, if the errand is merchandise. Valet, when offered, has its own span and is not a store key.

Holiday hours are on the Simon hours page for that week. Black Friday and December evenings can stretch; some holidays shorten. Do not import another California mall’s Sunday onto Ontario Mills. If you are flying through ONT and have two hours, check whether those two hours fall inside 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on a weekday. A 9:00 p.m. landing on a Wednesday is a hotel night, not an outlet night.

100 seconds

100 seconds equals one minute forty seconds, or 100 s, or PT1M40S. It is a short duration. It is not 1:00, and it is not a hundred on a digital clock.

Hours and minutes

13 hour cast

A 13 hour cast writes thirteen hours as a label in front of the word cast. Most people who type it want the actors in the film 13 Hours. The number is a duration, not a clock time.
