Main Event hours are posted per center. Weekday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are often different rows. Bowling, kitchen, and the door can close at different times.
How it works
Main Event is an indoor entertainment center: bowling, arcade games, laser tag where offered, food, and a bar, under one roof. Each address publishes its own week. A weekday may open late morning and run into the evening. Friday and Saturday often run later. Sunday is frequently its own pair. None of those sentences is a national timetable. The center’s page is the timetable. A Louisville listing is not a San Antonio listing.
Work decides which row you need. An after-shift outing wants the weekday close, not Saturday’s last hour. A family outing after school wants an open that has already started when the last bell rings. A weekend morning birthday wants a Saturday open that may be earlier than Monday. People who copy Friday onto Tuesday arrive at a building that is still dark, or they plan a last frame after the lanes have already stopped issuing shoes.
Attractions inside the building have sub-clocks. The kitchen can stop seating before the arcade. Bowling can stop selling games before the door locks. Happy hour, where a center offers it, is a bar clock, not a kids’ clock. If you are coming from work with a child, the useful close is the one that still sells the activity you came for, in a room that still makes sense for that child.
After-work lanes versus a weekend you can keep
Open that Main Event’s hours; write weekday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as four lines if the page does. Ask which close applies to bowling, to the kitchen, and to the door. They can differ. If you get off work at a fixed hour, add commute. A 10 p.m. door is not a 10 p.m. first frame.
If the visit is for children on a school night, leave before the adult late hours, even if the building is still open. Reservations and large parties consume lanes and rooms inside the public hours. A walk-in after work can find the activity you wanted already held. Book if the evening is the only free evening you have. Holiday eves and Super Bowl nights, where a center changes its board, are dated exceptions. The ordinary week does not advertise them. Check the week you are going, especially if you already requested that evening off.
The last lock is not the last frame. Ask which clock you are racing before you leave the job.
