Kfc hours

KFC hours are listed for each restaurant. Many U.S. locations open in late morning and close in the evening; the drive-thru can stay open after the lobby.

Time By Online Alarm Clock

How it works

KFC restaurants are heavily franchise-operated, so there is no single national pair of times. A common U.S. pattern is a late-morning open around 10:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. and an evening close between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., sometimes later on Friday and Saturday. Some restaurants open closer to 11:00 a.m. A few urban or travel-center kitchens open earlier. Airport and highway locations can look nothing like a neighborhood store. The locator row for that building is the schedule.

If your alarm is at 6:00 a.m., this kitchen is still dark. The bucket is a late-morning food, not a sunrise one. U.S. locations generally put the full menu on when they open rather than running a separate dawn breakfast board. A 10:30 a.m. open is lunch-adjacent. If you wanted chicken at 7:00 a.m., you are in the wrong hours, not a little early for the same hours.

Lobby, drive-thru, and delivery can disagree. The dining room may stop seating while the window still takes orders. Delivery apps can stop before either door. Late night is local. “Open late” on a listing means that restaurant, that night. It does not make the next exit’s KFC a midnight kitchen.

Not a dawn kitchen

Sleep plans should follow the open, not a memory of another fast-food breakfast. If you wake hungry at 8:00 a.m., you wait, or you cook at home. If you want dinner after a late shift that ends at 10:30 p.m., only a restaurant that still posts those hours will serve you. Many neighborhood KFCs are already winding down then. This chain’s typical evening is earlier than a burger place that runs past midnight. Do not copy In-N-Out’s 1:00 a.m. onto a chicken restaurant that locked at 10:00.

Friday and Saturday may add an hour at some drive-thrus. Sunday often looks like a weekday evening, not like Friday. Holiday eves can shorten either line without a national press release. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and similar dates are questions for that franchisee, not for a corporate sunrise. The locator the day you go is the check.

Look up that restaurant; franchise hours are local. Treat a 10:00 or 10:30 a.m. open as late morning, not breakfast-at-dawn. Read lobby, drive-thru, and delivery as three times. If you need food after 10:00 p.m., filter for a location that actually posts it.

The colonel’s kitchen is a late-morning clock. Standing in the parking lot at 7:00 a.m. will not make the fryers start out of sympathy.

Drive-thru after the lobby, and the night you keep

If you need a table for children, the dining-room close is the one that matters, and it is often earlier than the window. If you are in a car in pajamas, the drive-thru line is the one that matters. A 10:00 p.m. lobby with an 11:00 p.m. window is two different bedtimes. Choose the path before you leave the house so you are not negotiating with a locked glass door at 10:05.

A work-night bucket at 9:45 p.m. is an evening meal that still leaves a little night, or it is the meal that pushes sleep past the hour you needed. The chicken will be there tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. If you are already short on rest, that is the cheaper clock. If you work nights and this location closes at 10:00 p.m., it will never match you; another kitchen with a later board will. That is a mismatch of hours, not a failure of the menu.

Questions and answers

What time does KFC open and close?
Franchise hours are local. Many U.S. locations open in late morning, around 10:00 or 10:30 a.m., and close in the evening. Use the locator for that building.
Does KFC serve breakfast?
Most U.S. restaurants put the regular menu on at opening rather than a separate dawn breakfast. Opening time is local; do not assume a 6:00 a.m. kitchen.
Is the drive-thru open later than the dining room?
Often it is. Read both lines. Delivery can stop at a third time.

100 seconds

100 seconds equals one minute forty seconds, or 100 s, or PT1M40S. It is a short duration. It is not 1:00, and it is not a hundred on a digital clock.

13 hour cast

A 13 hour cast writes thirteen hours as a label in front of the word cast. Most people who type it want the actors in the film 13 Hours. The number is a duration, not a clock time.
