How it works

This is an eat-and-play clock that runs into the night. A common weekday pattern is a late-morning open and a midnight close. Friday and Saturday often run later, sometimes toward 1:00 a.m. or 2:00 a.m. Sunday often returns closer to midnight. None of those pairs is a law for every building. Airport, tourist, and downtown rooms can look nothing like a suburban one. The location page is the schedule.

Kitchen, arcade, and bar are three clocks in one room. Food can stop before games. Games can stop before the last drink. A “close” on the door is the last of those, not a promise that every machine and every plate is still running at 11:50 p.m. If you needed dinner, read kitchen hours. If you needed a child’s party, read the daytime window and the escort rules for minors, which can tighten after evening.

Happy hour, where a location runs it, is a separate afternoon or early-evening window. It is not the close. Do not treat a 4:00 p.m. special as proof that you should still be there at 1:00 a.m. The special ends. Sleep still has to start.

A late floor is a sleep decision

An arcade that is still loud at midnight is doing its job. Your alarm the next morning is not its job. A school-night visit that starts at 8:00 p.m. is already a late night once you add food, games, and the drive. The honest version of that outing is a weekend, or an afternoon that ends before dinner at home. The dishonest version is “just one more game” on a Tuesday.

Adults who work nights can match this floor better than a supermarket that locks at 10:00 p.m. That is the rare case where a late entertainment clock fits sleep instead of stealing it: you are already awake. Everyone else is borrowing tomorrow. If you leave at 12:40 a.m. and work at 8:00 a.m., you did not find extra time. You spent it.

Open the location’s hours the day you go; weekend nights run later than many weeknights. Read kitchen, arcade, and bar as separate stops if you care which one you need. Read age and escort rules before you bring children after dinner.

Treat a midnight close as a sleep cost on a work night, not as a suggestion. The games will gladly outlast your bedtime. That is not hospitality. That is the business model.

Weekend midnight is not a weekday midnight

Copying Saturday’s last hour onto Wednesday is a frequent miss. A location that posts 2:00 a.m. on Saturday may post midnight on Monday. Arriving at 12:20 a.m. on a Tuesday with Saturday in your head is how you meet staff stacking stools. Plan the night you are actually living. If the outing is a birthday that must include children, afternoon and early evening are the hours that still leave a night. Late-night promotions aimed at older guests are a different visit.

Holiday eves can extend or cut the floor. A listing from last October will not save you on New Year’s Eve. Check that week. Drive time after close is part of the sleep math: a 1:00 a.m. lock plus a 40-minute drive is not a 1:00 a.m. bedtime. Count the porch, not the door.
