Belk hours

Belk hours are posted by each store. Many locations open mid-morning, run into the evening Monday through Saturday, and open later and close earlier on Sunday.

Time By Online Alarm Clock

How it works

Belk is a department store, not a dawn grocery. A pattern that shows up on many store pages is about 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with Sunday often 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. Some mall anchors run later on weeknights, including a 9:00 p.m. close. Some malls cut the evening short. The listing for that address is the schedule. A remembered pair from another city will not open a door that already locked.

Sleep is the other half of that board. Doors that stay shut until 10:00 a.m. do not help a 6:00 a.m. wake. They fit a late breakfast, a lunch break, or a stop after work. An 8:00 p.m. weekday close sits on the edge of a work-night bedtime. If you still need a full night before an early alarm, wandering the shoe department at 7:50 p.m. is already eating the buffer. Sunday’s later open collides with people who slept in and still thought 10:00 a.m. would work. Read the Sunday line before you treat it as a slow morning trip.

Pickup counters, jewelry, and other desks can staff later than the front doors or earlier. The sales floor opening at 10:00 a.m. does not mean every counter inside is staffed at 10:00 a.m. If the errand is a pickup or a return, read that line. Online checkout has its own cutoff, which is not the door time.

Mid-morning doors and a work-night close

This is a store you reach after you have already slept, not a store that waits up with you. If you are still in last night’s sleep at 9:00 a.m., the building is still locked at many locations. If you shop at 7:45 p.m. on a Tuesday, you are choosing the last hour of the floor over the first hour of the night you meant to keep. Move a long list to a Saturday afternoon when you can. Save Sunday for a shorter visit that respects the later open and the earlier close.

Mall buildings add a second sleep problem: the concourse can go dark while you still thought you had twenty minutes. Refresh that store’s hours the day you go, especially after dinner. Holiday weeks can stretch a morning earlier than 10:00 a.m.; those extra hours are posted for a stretch of dates and then they vanish. Black Friday has run on an early board at Belk in recent years. That early board is a November exception. Do not set a November alarm in March.

Weekdays and Saturday: many stores around 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; some malls later; confirm yours. Sunday: often a later open (about 11:00 a.m.) and an earlier close than Saturday. Mall buildings: the mall’s last hour can cut the brand’s usual evening short.

Sleep: this is not a dawn store; do not plan it before breakfast or after your last good hour for rest. Belk sells clothes on a mid-morning clock. Your 6:00 a.m. errand belongs to a grocery, not to a fitting room that is still dark.

Sundays, holidays, and the last hour

Sunday is the row people skip. It is not Saturday copied down. The later open is a sleep-in that the store, not you, chose. Arrive at 10:15 a.m. on a Sunday and you may still be in the parking lot of a locked building. Holiday hours are a separate notice. Do not import another chain’s closed-day list onto Belk. Read that store’s current week, especially around Thanksgiving week, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve, when short closes erase the last hour you thought you had.

Holiday weeks are when people try to finish a gift list after a short night. Finish the list in daylight if you can. Pickup, where that store offers it, beats a 7:40 p.m. circuit of the floor when you already owe tomorrow’s alarm a full night.

Questions and answers

What time does Belk open and close?
Each building posts its own board. Many run about 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with Sunday often 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 or 7:00 p.m.
Are Sunday hours the same as Saturday?
Usually not. Sunday frequently opens later and closes earlier. Read the Sunday row on that location’s listing.
Does every Belk keep the same evening close?
No. Mall hours and local boards differ. Some locations close at 8:00 p.m., some later. Use the store page for the address you will visit.

100 seconds

100 seconds equals one minute forty seconds, or 100 s, or PT1M40S. It is a short duration. It is not 1:00, and it is not a hundred on a digital clock.

13 hour cast

A 13 hour cast writes thirteen hours as a label in front of the word cast. Most people who type it want the actors in the film 13 Hours. The number is a duration, not a clock time.
