Why there is no daylight saving

The Maldives lies close to the equator. Day length there barely shifts across the year, so the argument for a seasonal clock change — recovering evening daylight in summer — does not apply. The country has no DST and no seasonal variant of MVT.

Confirm which applies before an early departure, and set an alarm against the one that has an aircraft attached to it.
