Antigua and Barbuda keeps Atlantic Standard Time, UTC-4, throughout the year, with no daylight saving. St. John's, the capital, shares this clock with Barbuda and the country's other islands.

Two islands, one offset

The country is made up of Antigua and Barbuda, together with the small island of Redonda. Antigua holds the capital and the bulk of the population; Barbuda lies to the north, flatter and far more sparsely settled. Despite the sea between them, they run on the same clock — the offset is national, not per-island.

Antigua and Barbuda is part of the Leeward Islands in the eastern Caribbean, and the UTC-4 offset it uses is shared with much of that chain. Travel between neighbouring islands therefore tends to leave your watch alone, which is more than can be said for the connecting flights.
